Orange discharge affecting Perranporth nature reserve
A warning has been issued with Bathing not advised at Perranporth North Cornwall due to pollution from other.
Investigations are underway after reports of an orange discharge affecting a nature reserve in Perranporth.
Officers from the Environment Agency are working to identify the source of the leak at Nansmellyn Marsh and Bolingey Stream.
Perranzabuloe Parish Council commented on Facebook saying
"We are aware and dealing with an ongoing pollution incident affecting the Bolingey stream and the bathing water at Perranporth.
We have an officer on site investigating but we are currently unsure of the source or the type of pollution but we can provide an update when we have further information."
