His main priority is securing a long-term devolution deal for Cornwall.

He says this would give local communities more control over decisions and funding.

Transport is also high on his list.

Maguire says he has been working on plans for an alternative Camelford bypass, which he believes would improve travel and reduce congestion.

Healthcare remains a key issue.

"Healthcare has been a really important thing."

"We had the campaign to keep Launceston Minor Injuries Unit open. We've now got to secure that and invest in that and build it up."

MP Maguire helped lead the campaign to keep Launceston Minor Injuries Unit open and says the next step is to protect and invest in the service.

He also wants to see improvements at local community hospitals, including those in Bodmin and the Stratton area, as well as progress on long-standing plans for a new health centre in Bodmin.

Maguire says water quality will be a major issue in 2026.

He has criticised South West Water, saying he does not believe enough is being invested in infrastructure. He says pollution is making people sick, including children who swim in the sea.

Finally he says he will continue campaigning next year to improve services, protect the environment and deliver real change for people in North Cornwall.
