More than £8k of drugs taken off the streets in Camborne
It follows a targeted police operation
Officers from Devon and Cornwall Police have arrested a man after uncovering a stash of suspected class A and B drugs at a property in Camborne as part of their commitment to tackle crime in the town.
The warrant was carried out on Saturday 15 November resulting in the seizure of suspected cocaine, ketamine and cannabis. The estimated street value of the suspected drugs seized totalled £8,850.
A 39 year old man was arrested following the warrant and has been charged with possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs. He has been released on police bail and is due to appear in court on 19th December 2025.
Police Inspector Lou Brown, who heads up neighbourhood officers in Camborne, said: “Removing a significant quantity of drugs from street circulation has been a really positive result.
“Our officers remain focused on pursuing those involved in drug crime – whether it’s disrupting the sale of illegal substances with warrants like these or carrying out activity to identify people who sell drugs, we will continue this important work.”
Inspector Brown added: “I hope this sends a clear message that we are taking a robust approach against drug crime in our communities.
“If you have any information about suspected illegal activity – please report it to us. The more you tell us, the more activity we can carry out to pursue those causing harm.”
