Mevagissey Lifeboat celebrates 200 years

Lifeboat Day is being celebrated in Mevagissey as locals mark 200 years of the lifeboat in St Austell Bay.

An illustrated talk with a first hand experience from a crew member is being hosted at Jubilee Hall, at 11.30am.

Events and activities on the jetty will also include live music, water safety demonstrations and games for all of the family.
