Fire at Cornwall metal storage container

Cornwall fire crews were called to tackle a blaze involving a metal storage container.

Multiple reports of a fire were received shortly before 7:50pm yesterday (31 October).

A crew from Mevagissey Fire Station was mobilised to the scene, where they discovered a metal storage unit well alight.

Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control using a hose reel jet and small gear.

The incident was safely extinguished, and no injuries have been reported.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that the cause of the fire is under investigation.
