A man who died during Storm Goretti after a tree fell onto his caravan has been named locally as James Southey.
In a post on social media, his sister describes him as a "gentle giant who would do anything for anyone" - and says they'll miss him dearly.
Emergency services were called to the Mawgan area of Helston last week.
Police say a man in his 50s was found dead at the scene.
In a statement on social media, sister Sam Southey said: "Absolutely devastated to share the tragic news of the death of my brother James.
"We are all in shock and struggling to come to terms with this very sad news.
"Never in a million years years do you expect that Knock on the door to be for you😥he was a “Gentle giant who would do anything for anyone.”
"We will miss him dearly.
"Thank you for all your support and kind words."
