Man found dead in Truro park

A man has been found dead at Boscawen Park this morning.

Devon and Cornwall Police officers were called to the area at around 3.35am.

The male was in his 40s and from the Truro area.

The force stated:

"We were called at around 3.35am on Friday 8 August following a report a man had gone missing in the Truro area. He was located a short time later in Boscawan Park.

"Sadly, despite the best efforts of emergency services, the man – in his 40s and from Truro - was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been made aware. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for HM Coroner."
