Man charged after alleged Looe assault
Officers were called to the Fore Street area at around 00:35am on Sunday 13 July
Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed that a man has been charged after an alleged assault in Looe.
The incident is reported to have happened in the early hours of yesterday morning.
In a statement, officers said: "We were called to the Fore Street area at around 00:35am on Sunday 13 July and located a man unconscious on the ground.
"The man was taken to hospital having suffered a serious head injury. He continues to undergo treatment.
"Oliver Palmer, 18, from Trenant Road in Looe, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
"He has been remanded to appear at Bodmin Magistrates’ Court today, Monday 14 July."
