Boost of Easter visitors flock to Jubilee Pool in Penzance
It's ahead of their 90th anniversary celebrations this year
A popular open-air sea pool in Penzance say they've experienced a boost of visitors this Easter, following some sunshine.
The Jubilee Pool have opened their gates for the season.
It comes ahead of their 90th anniversary celebrations this year.
Nicola, CEO of Jubilee Pool, said: "It kind of feels like we're emerging from hibernation when we hit Easter. Everyone is coming out of the darkness when the clocks change, everyone has this nice mindset of the spring being here."
This year, on May 31, marks their 90th birthday.
Celebrations planned for the day include a synchronised swimming display, live music and mermaids in the pool.
Nicola added: "It'll be a fun filled day of celebration, we'll be launching our commemorative 90 year logo that year and we're keeping our fingers crossed for the weather.
"There's footage and photos in an archive from the original opening of the pool and it was absolutely packed. We have site capacities we have to operate in, but it would be wonderful to get even near to replicating that volume of people."
