Further details revealed for Truro’s Boscawen Park Sports Hub project
More details have been revealed regarding plans to introduce a new indoor and outdoor sports and leisure facility at Boscawen Park.
Thee £5.2 million Sports Hub project will see a new multi-use building constructed, led by the City Council and funded by Truro Town Deal.
The outdoor space will include an extended and improved pétanque pitch and resurfacing of the riverside walk.
Truro Mayor Chris Wells said:
“This is a major step forward for our Sports Hub project which will produce positive benefits for the city, our residents and businesses, and for visitors”
The works are currently due to start during the week beginning 4 August.
An Information Day is being held at the Truro Loops Room in the Tennis Pavillion on Wednesday, 30 July to enable the local community to find out more about the project and talk to members of the project team.
