"A flood alert remains in force"
They are urging people to "take care near the coast."
Areas that could be impacted include Gribbin Head, Lizard Point and the Tidal Fal Estuary.
A spokesperson said:
"Flooding is expected over the high tide on Tuesday evening. High water at Plymouth is at 19:53, times of high water will vary along the coast.
"High water levels are forecast to cause flooding between 19:00 and 21:00."
"Coastal conditions should ease by Wednesday morning. However, a flood alert remains in force, with flooding to low lying areas possible over Wednesday’s high tides.
"We are monitoring the situation and will update this information by midday on Wednesday, or if the situation changes."
