Five men remanded into custody after being charged with South West burglaries
After a police investigation five men have been charged and remanded into custody into dwelling burglaries across the South West.
20 year-old Jimmy Gilheaney, and 43 year-old Jimmy Gilheaney, both of Winterbourne; 53 year-old Martin McDonagh, of no fixed address, and 46 year-old Michael McDonagh, of Hengrove, all appeared before Bristol Magistrates’ Court last Saturday
A fifth man 24 yar-old Michael McDonagh, of Loughton in Essex, appeared in the same court on Monday.
All five are charged with conspiracy to commit a dwelling burglary with intent to steal.
The charges come after a lengthy police investigation into a series of more than a dozen burglaries across the Avon and Somerset and Devon and Cornwall policing areas in which mainly cash and high value jewellery were stolen.
