Class A drugs seized and woman arrested in Truro warrant
The searches followed a public tip-off about possible drug activity
Suspected Class A drugs have been seized during a search warrant, carried out at an address in Truro.
The searches following community concerns about possible drug activity there.
Cocaine was discovered during the checks.
A 46 year old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply, and has since been bailed while enquiries continue.
Sergeant David Pearce from Devon and Cornwall Police said: “I hope this sends a message to our communities that we’re listening to your concerns, acting on your reports and taking robust action against drug supply in our city.
“We will continue to conduct thorough investigations and take proactive action like this to make Truro a hostile place for people looking to commit crime.
“Your reports are vital in our investigations, they help to secure warrants, target our patrols and gather further evidence to put offenders before the courts. We’re listening, so please continue to come forward and report what you know.”
