The Cornish Pirates say their upcoming rugby fixtures will go ahead as planned, despite damage to their Mennaye Field stadium following Storm Goretti.

The stadium in Penzance suffered significant damage during the storm, including to its Main Grandstand - it's reported repairs could cost hundreds of thousands of pounds.

The Pirates say they're working closely with Penzance & Newlyn RFC and have thanked them for their support.

They also added that if needed, Redruth RFC and Camborne RFC are willing to host matches, subject to approval from the Rugby Football Union (RFU).

The club has also promised to share more information as soon as it becomes available.
