South West England is experiencing higher than average rainfall this February
The weather station in Cardinham reports rainfall for 54 consecutive days!
Some days recorded minimal rain, but Cardinham remains the only station with daily precipitation since the year's start.
It comes as it's certainly been a wet 2026 so far, with provisional figures showing England has already seen 59% of its average February rainfall - and that was recorded by February 8.

Okehampton in Somerset follows closely with 48 consecutive days.
However, the county has not reported any individual weather stations with notable figures.
