Fire crews are dealing with a bus fire on the A30 in Cornwall this morning (Tuesday 7 October 2025).

The road has been closed in both directions due to the bus fire and oil spillage between A38 Launceston Road (Callywith, Bodmin) and B3257 (Bodmin Moor Services, Bolventor).

The road is now reopen Eastbound, but the Westbound carriageway remains closed.

Firefighters from Bodmin and Launceston, along with police, have been in attendance.

Devon and Cornwall Police were called to the westbound carriageway of the A30 at Bolventor, Launceston, at around 6.15am today (Tuesday 7 October).

Officers say there were no passengers on the bus at the time and no injuries have been reported.
