A surf school in Bude says it's "devastated" after its stand-up paddleboard trailer was stolen.

Freewave Surf Academy believe it was taken from the Crescent Car Park sometime on Saturday or Sunday evening.

It contained around 15 paddleboards, along with paddles and wetsuits.

In their post on Facebook, bosses said: "We’re devastated to share that our stand-up paddleboard trailer was stolen from The Crescent Car Park, Bude sometime on Saturday or Sunday evening.

"The trailer is very large, approximately 15 feet long and 8 feet high, and is easily recognisable with our surf school signage. It also features The Bude Way branding from the Bude Climate Partnership on the back.

"Inside the trailer were around 15 paddleboards, along with paddles and wetsuits, all set for the Easter Holidays and the start of our second year of Bude SUP Club.

"If you have any information, saw it being towed, or noticed anything unusual in the area, please get in touch. Even small details could be invaluable in helping us check doorbell or CCTV footage.

"Your help would mean the world to us. Thank you."
