Asda's Hayle Harbour store has reopened after a section of its exterior wall collapsed forcing it to close yesterday (February 2nd).

A small area outside the store was cordoned off after the collapse which Asda said was caused by "adverse weather conditions."

Structural engineers visited the site last night, and the store reopened at 11am today (February 3rd).

Store Manager Sara Taylor said: "The team have been working really hard to begin clearing up, and the road and entry to the car park is now open as usual."

She added: "All of our services will be up and running including parcel collection and home shopping delivery, but if you have any questions or concerns about your orders you can contact our helpful customer services team using this link: https://support.asda.com/help/

"We look forward to seeing you again very soon and I want to thank all of our customers and the wider community for their well wishes and understanding over the past 24 hours."
