Ambulance called to Circus Funtasia in Helston after motorbike incident
An ambulance and a first responder attended
It's reported one of the performances at a circus, which had made its way to Helston this week, had to be cut short after the emergency services were called to an incident.
An ambulance and a first responder attended after an incident involving the steel cage, in which bikes are ridden.
It's understood there was a crash as the fifth motorbike rider got inside - but we're told everyone was okay.
On their Facebook page, Circus Funtasia said: "WOW! What an audience we had today!
"Thank you all so much for coming — your energy was incredible.
"And just to put your minds at ease: the gentleman in question is absolutely fine."
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) told us: “We were called at 20.01hrs on Tuesday 29 July to an incident in Helston.
"We sent a double-crewed land ambulance, an operations officer and a first responder to the scene and we conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Royal Cornwall Hospital.”
