Ex-Plymouth Argyle midfielder confirms he is safe after being reported missing
Ákos Buzsáky had reportedly been missing for over a week
Former Plymouth Argyle footballer Ákos Buzsáky has confirmed he is safe and well after reports emerged he had been missing.
Concerns for the midfielder had been raised on Wednesday when local media in Hungary had claimed he had not been seen for over a week.
Police had allegedly been looking for him to check on him, but on Friday (August 28th), Ákos took to his social media to confirm he was fine.
Writing in a post uploaded to his Facebook page, he wrote: "Unfortunately, in the past few months, there have been serious changes in my life that have tested me.
"The dead bodies have been piling up above my head, and there came a moment when I felt I had to break away from these daily routines, due to a misunderstanding, my worried mother pointed me toward the police.
"Thank you very much for all the concern and thoughts you have shown me. As soon as I learned about the situation, I stopped my retreat and informed the authorities.
"I wish everyone a very nice day, and it felt really good to receive so much love!"
The statement was also posted on QPR's official X page, after Ákos had played there on loan for five seasons.
He also played for Plymouth Argyle on loan in 2005, and would stay at the club until 2007 when he moved to QPR.
