The A30 has reopened following a serious crash.

Emergency services were called to the scene on the Hayle Bypass last night (Thursday 27 July).

National Highways said it involved three vehicles, one of which ended up on its roof.

Traffic monitoring service Inrix said: "A30 in both directions re-opened, earlier accident investigation work from B3301 Carwin Rise (Loggans Moor roundabout, Hayle) to A3074 Nut Lane (St Erth roundabout, Lelant)."

The closure had been in place since yesterday evening.

We have contacted Devon and Cornwall Police for a statement.
