15-year-old boy found dead in wooded area in Bude

Emergency services were called at around 4.25pm on 8th January after concerns were raised for the welfare of a boy in a wooded area in Bude.

Despite their best efforts, the 15-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious.

The boy’s next of kin have been informed, and a file is being prepared for HM Coroner.
