Peterborough house "closed" after concerns of drug dealing
80 Orchard Street, Woodston has been issued a closure order
A house in Peterborough has been closed as part of works to tackle drug dealing and criminal behaviour.
The measure means the house, 80 Orchard Street, Woodston, is shut to everyone at all times and in all circumstances.
The order is in place until 22nd March 2026.
Police Constable Charlie Adams said: “Despite intervention and support offered to the tenant, issues have persisted, so further action had to be taken.
“Drug dealing can be extremely disruptive to the local community, and I hope this order shows residents that we take their concerns seriously and will monitor the address to ensure the order is adhered to.”
