Tribute paid to a devoted father and recent grandfather following a fatal crash
The family of 49-year-old Artur Ciesielski, who tragically died following a cycling accident in Peterborough, has paid tribute to him, reflecting on his kindness and love of animals.
Originally from Poland, Artur had lived in the UK for 23 years. He passed away on 9th March, having been critically injured during a crash at Rhubarb Bridge on 21st February.
His family shared fond memories of Artur, recalling his passion for cycling and his devotion to his family and pets.
He had recently married his wife on 13th February and looked forward to their future together.
Artur, a trained carpenter, was often found fixing things, working in the garden, or cooking for loved ones.
He was known as a dedicated father to his daughter, imparting life skills ranging from DIY to cooking.
Artur's new role as a grandfather filled him with pride and joy.
The family encourages anyone who might have been near Lincoln Road at the time of the incident to come forward with information, referencing incident number 444 of 21st February.
