One dead after train and car crash at Dimmocks Cote level crossing
An investigation is underway
A person has died after a crash between a car and a train at the Dimmocks Cote level crossing in Ely.
The incident was reported to British Transport Police at around 10.15am today (3rd March)
Emergency services, including police and paramedics, swiftly responded to the scene.
One individual was pronounced dead, and another is being treated for minor injuries.
