Teen killed after collision between bus and car at Guyhirn

A teenager from March has died after a collision involving the car he was driving and a bus on the A47 at Guyhirn.

The crash happened on Saturday at 2.45pm.

The car driver - who was 18 - died at the scene, six bus passengers were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn with minor injuries.

Sergeant Mark Atkins from Cambridgeshire Police said, "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who sadly lost his life. His family are being supported by our specially trained family liaison officers.

"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances, and we are appealing to anyone who saw the collision to contact us."
