Soham woman arrested on suspicion of horse sale fraud

The woman has been released on bail while police continue investigations

A woman from Soham has been arrested following suspected horse sale fraud.

The woman, in her thirties, was arrested on Monday (9 March) and has been released on bail until 6 June, pending further enquiries.

More than 80 suspected victims have come forward to the police.

The alleged fraud is believed to have happened between 2024 and February this year.

An investigation has been launched, meanwhile police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
