Second man arrested following death of woman in Cambridge
The woman in her twenties was pronounced dead at a property in Chesterton Road on Thursday (2 October).
A 33-year-old man from South Cambridgeshire was arrested on Sunday (5 October) on suspicion of murder.
He remains in custody at Parkside police station.
Police were called by the ambulance service at about 12.50pm Thursday (2 October) to a property in Chesterton Road with reports of the sudden death of a woman.
The woman, who is in her 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives are treating the death of a woman in Cambridge as suspicious.
The 29-year-old man who had been arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on bail until 2 January.
An investigation is ongoing, police continue to appeal to anyone with information to come forward.
