Searches continuing for missing St Neots man one month since he was last seen
Police had received dozens of sightings of 53-year-old Darren Willis, but all proved negative.
Searches are continuing to find a missing man from St Neots a month on since he was last seen.
DI Emma Garwood, who is leading the search, said police had received dozens of sightings of 53-year-old Darren Willis, but all had proved negative.
He was reported missing from his home in Duck Lane, St Neots, on the morning of 9 June.
An image of the last known sighting of Darren, at just before 7am on Monday, 9 June, on a pathway connecting Willow Bridge and Shakespeare Road, St Neots, has been released.
Searches of green spaces and areas of open water continue, and officers have used drones and specialist sonar equipment.
He is described as white, 6’1”, with short brown hair, medium build, and was wearing a dark blue hoody, dark blue jeans, baseball cap and white trainers.
DI Garwood said: “Although we have had no confirmed sightings of Darren, we are very grateful for the all the reports we’ve had from members of public.
“Darren’s family are understandably desperate to find out where he has gone, and we’re still committed to finding him.
“We still think Darren could be in the community and in need of help, so we’re keen to re-appeal for information.
“The longer Darren is missing the more concerning it becomes, but we haven’t given up hope of finding him alive.”
Anyone who has seen him or who has information concerning his whereabouts is being urged to get in touch with Cambridgeshire Police.
