Puppy stolen in burglary reunited with owner

Detectives have confirmed that a three-month-old Dachshund stolen in a burglary has been found and returned to its owner.

The puppy, named Peggy, was taken from a property on Hardwick Road, Toft, between 4pm and 5pm on 18 March. The burglars, who were wearing balaclavas, broke in through the rear patio doors before removing Peggy from her crate.

Detective Sergeant Jon Lockwood said: “We would like to hear from anyone who has information about Peggy, or anyone who saw anything suspicious in the moments leading up to and after the burglary.”
