Man seriously injured after St Neots crash involving scooter and car

Police are appealing for witnesses after a crash involving a scooter and car in St Neots on Friday afternoon.

The collision occurred at 3.10pm on Cambridge Street near the junction with Sandfields Road.

A black and silver scooter heading towards the town centre collided with a white Ford Fiesta, leaving the scooter rider, a 26-year-old man, with serious injuries.

He was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge for treatment. The driver of the car was uninjured.

Officers are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage showing either vehicle before the incident to come forward.
