Police officer injured in knife attack in Cambridge
Their injury isn't believed to be life-threatening
A police officer has been taken to hospital after being injured in a knife attack in Cambridge.
The officer was among those carrying out proactive patrols in Eagle Street, when they stopped two men believed to be involved with drug dealing.
They were injured when one man brandished a knife, assaulting the officer, leading to a minor injury.
He was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge. The injury is not thought to be serious.
In a post on social media, Cambridgeshire Police said "One man has been arrested and is currently on his way to custody. A cordon is in place at the scene, the road is currently closed and enquiries are ongoing.
