Police appeal after Co-op break-in attempt in Sutton
Detectives are seeking witnesses and footage after an attempted burglary at a Sutton convenience store.
Police are appealing for information after a break-in attempt at the Co-op store on Ely Road in Sutton during the early hours of this morning.
Officers were called at 2.50am following reports that three men were trying to cut through the store’s shutters using a disc cutter.
The suspects left empty handed, and no arrests have been made at this stage. Police say an investigation is ongoing.
Detectives are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious, or who has relevant video doorbell or dashcam footage, to get in touch.
