Witnesses sought after fatal collision involving HGV in Peterborough

Police are seeking witnesses following a fatal collision on Fletton Parkway in Peterborough.

The crash involved an HGV and a white Xpeng G6 on the eastbound side of the A1139 near the A1(M) exit around 11:50 am yesterday (6 May).

Despite the swift arrival of police, paramedics, and fire crews, the car driver, a 45-year-old man from Peterborough, tragically died at the scene.

Investigating officers are appealing for information and dashcam footage from witnesses who saw the collision or the vehicles prior to the incident.
