Person cut from car that crashed into a tree on Cambridgeshire road
A car crashed into a tree on a Cambridgeshire road on Saturday (September 6) morning. A person had to be removed from the car by firefighters.
When firefighters arrive to the scene on Saturday (September 6) along Conington Road, Elsworth, just before 9.40am they found a car had crashed into a tree.
Emergency workers had to cut one casualty out of the car, they where then taken by ambulance crews to hospital to receive treatment.
Two other people, involved in the accident, were already out of the car when firefighters arrived.
A fire spokesperson said:
“At 9.38am on Saturday, a crew from Huntingdon and the south roaming fire engine were called to a road traffic collision on Conington Road in Elsworth."
“Firefighters arrived to find a car had collided with a tree. Using specialist equipment they released a casualty who was left in the care of ambulance crews."
“Two casualties were out of the vehicle when the crews arrived. The crews returned to their stations by 11.30am.”
