Motorcyclist killed during crash with farm vehicle near Willingham

Police appeal for information following Earith Road collision

A man in his 40s has died following a crash between his motorcycle and a farm vehicle in Cambridgeshire.

The collision happened at 8pm on the 1st of July on the B1050 Earith Road, near Willingham.

The motorcyclist, who was from Over, near Willingham, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the yellow and black crop sprayer, a man aged in his 30s from Willingham, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been released on bail until 1st October.

Police are now seeking witnesses and dashcam footage to help with their investigation.

Sergeant Mark Atkins said: “I am appealing to anyone who might have seen the collision or the vehicles in the moments before to get in touch. I would also like to hear from anyone with dashcam footage.”
