Man dies after car crashed into house in Peterborough

A man has died in hospital, after the car he was driving crashed into a house in Peterborough earlier this month.

The 40 year-old, from Peterborough, was driving the blue Ford Mondeo along Paston Ridings at about 6pm on 17 May when it crashed into stationary vehicles and then the building.

Emergency services attended the scene and he was taken to hospital, where he died on Sunday (24 May).

A man and a woman in their 70s were also taken to hospital with serious injuries. The man has since been released and the woman is still receiving treatment. She is in a serious, but not life-threatening, condition.

Officers are appealing for information and dashcam footage from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the vehicle in the time leading up to it.
