An 18-year-old man from Kensworth has been charged after a rave in the South Cambridgeshire village of Litlington.

Cambridgeshire Constabulary said Dylan Grego, of The Chilterns, Kensworth, has been charged with possession of cannabis, failing to stop and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.

He will appear at Cambridge Magistrates' Court on 19th November.

The force said a 24-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man from Oswestry, Shropshire, were also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs.

They have both been given community resolutions.

What happened at the rave

Cambridgeshire Constabulary said police were called in the early hours of Sunday 18th October to reports of a rave at a farm building in Litlington.

It said officers attended and used dispersal powers to prevent further people entering the area.

The force said more than 200 people were dispersed from the area.

Music equipment and vehicles were seized.

Detective Superintendent Denise Harper said: "Illegal raves can cause significant community disruption and damage. They will not be tolerated and, where appropriate, action will be taken."
