Detectives investigating a serious sexual assault in Little Paxton have released an artist's impression of the attacker.

The victim, a woman in her 20s, was attacked in Mill Lane between 9pm and around 9.30pm on 27th August.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

Police have described the attacker as a white man with a pale complexion and very dark, short hair.

He was wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts and white trainers at the time.

Detective Constable James Howard, the investigating officer, said: "The victim has shown considerable courage in assisting our investigation and has worked with a forensic artist to produce this image. I am asking the public to carefully look at the drawing and consider whether they recognise the person depicted."

He added: "Even if you think the information you hold may be insignificant, I encourage you to come forward. Small details can often make a significant difference in helping us identify a suspect."

"We are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who was in the area at the time, may have captured footage on CCTV, dashcam or mobile devices, or who recognises the individual shown in this drawing," he said.

Officers also want to hear from anyone who saw a dark Tesla in the vicinity of Mill Lane at the time.
