Police have shut down an illegal rave in South Cambridgeshire.

Officers responded to reports and arrived at a farm building in the village of Litlington early this morning (Sunday 18th October 2026), where the rave was taking place.

Dispersal powers were used to stop further people from entering the area, and more than 200 individuals were moved on.

Music equipment and vehicles were seized, and three people were arrested on suspicion of drug offences.

Detective Superintendent Denise Harper from Cambridgeshire Police said:

“Illegal raves can cause significant community disruption and damage. They will not be tolerated and, where appropriate, action will be taken."

A dispersal order and road closures were put in place, and the public was advised to avoid the area.
