Motorcyclist seriously injured after Girton collision

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a collision left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.

Emergency services were called to the A1307, The Avenue, Girton, at about 5pm on Friday (7 November) after the collision involving a white Vauxhall Corsa and a grey Yamaha motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, a 20-year-old man from Cambridge, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, with serious injuries.

The Corsa driver, a 22-year-old woman from Whittlesford, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with minor injuries.

Anyone who saw what happened or has dashcam footage of the collision, or the moments leading up to it, should report it through the force website.
