A woman has died in hospital after a car left the road and collided with a tree near Woodwalton.

Emergency services were called to Monkswood Road at about 4pm on Saturday, 8 March, after a blue Ford Tourneo crashed.

The driver, 55-year-old Kim Tennant, of Tithe Road, Chatteris, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge with serious, life-threatening injuries.

She died in hospital on Monday, 10 March.

A 13-year-old girl, who was a passenger in the car, suffered minor injuries. No other vehicles were involved.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to report it through the force website using reference CC-08032025-0323. Those without internet access can call 101.
