A delivery driver has been knocked off his bike and had his mobile phone stolen in Cambridge before the suspects rode off on his motorbike.
The incident happened at about 12.10am on Monday, 24 March, in Fishers Lane, Cherry Hinton. The victim, who was riding a Just Eat bike, was approached by two men on a motorbike. One of them kicked him off his bike and took his phone before fleeing on the victim’s motorbike.
The suspects were last seen riding along Cherry Hinton High Street towards the shops. Officers later recovered the stolen phone, but the motorbike remains missing.
The two men are described as white, wearing black clothing, black tracksuit bottoms, and black helmets.
DC Ellie Hathiramani said: “I would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the two men riding motorbikes in the early hours of this morning in the Cherry Hinton area, especially around High Street.
“Also, if anyone has any doorbell CCTV or general CCTV of the two men, that would be a great help to our investigation.”
The victim was unhurt but shaken by the incident.
