Cambridgeshire police officer pleads guilty to drink driving

A Cambridgeshire police officer has pleaded guilty to drink driving offences.
35-year-old PC Joseph Passby appeared at Luton Magistrates Court on Monday 20 July.
Passby was on dury on 15 June when the police vehicle he was driving collided with a car in front on Trumpington Street, Cambridge.
He provided an evidential breath test reading of 81 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
He was disqualified from driving for a year and ordered to pay a £400 fine.
Passby remains suspended from duty pending the outcome of misconduct proceedings.
