Cambridge United complete Heath deal

It's a new signing for the League One side

Cambridge United have signed young forward Isaac Heath from Everton.

The 21-year-old came through the academies of Leeds United and then Everton.

He also had a loan spell with Accrington Stanley and He made 30 League Two appearances, scoring four goals and providing four assists.

Having completed his first full campaign in the EFL, Heath now arrives at the Cledara Abbey Stadium on a three-year deal, subject to EFL and FA approval.

Heath spoke to the club's website saying: “I'm delighted to get the move over the line. This feels like the right club for me at this stage of my career, and my conversations with the manager played a big part in my decision to come here.

“We spoke in depth about how I fit into the team's style of play and the plans for me going forward, which really excited me. I'm just looking forward to getting started now.”
