Witnesses sought after serious motorcycle crash in Cambridge

Two men hospitalised following collision at Kings Hedges Road

Cambridge police are appealing for witnesses after a collision on Kings Hedges Road left a motorcyclist and a pillion passenger in serious condition.

The crash occurred at around 10.35am on 27th May at the junction of Lovell Road.

A beige and black Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycle collided with a grey Citroen Grand Picasso, driven by a 74-year-old man who was unharmed.

Emergency services attended the scene, and both the rider, a 21-year-old man, and his passenger, a 20-year-old man, were transported to hospital where they remain with serious injuries.

Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicles prior to the incident to come forward with information.

Dashcam footage is especially sought after to aid in the investigation.
