Girl found with knife at Cambridgeshire school

Cambridgeshire police have insisted they are working with a primary school in the area after a 10 year old girl reportedly brought a knife into a school.

The incident was reported on Friday in Histon.

The knife was confiscated.

A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: "We were called by a member of staff at about 1pm on 14 February reporting a 10-year-old girl had brought a small knife into a school. A crime has been raised and we are working closely with the school."
