Body found in search for missing St Neots post man
Formal identification has not yet taken place.
Police searching for missing postman Darren Willis, from St Neots, have found a body.
Mr Willis, aged 53, was reported missing from his home on Duck Lane, St Neots, on 9th June 2025.
Extensive searches were carried out in the weeks and months that followed.
Officers revisited the Eynesbury area to continue their search, using the change in seasons and the altered landscape to guide their efforts.
Although formal identification has not yet taken place, Mr Willis’ family have been informed of the discovery.
Police have confirmed they are not treating the death as suspicious and that the case will be passed to the coroner.
They also extended their thanks to members of the public for their support and assistance during the investigation.
