Appeal for witnesses after man dies in bridge fall

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage, after a man died falling from a bridge near Cambridge.

Officers and paramedics were called to northbound carriageway of the A11, at the junction for Fulbourn and Balsham, at about 8.15pm last night (22 February).

The victim, a 20-year-old, from Cambridge, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sergeant Claire Marland said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have seen the man, either walking to or in the vicinity of the bridge, to get in touch with us.”

Anyone who saw the man who should use reference incident 431 of 22 February and report it through the force website.
