Appeal launched after football pitch damaged twice in a month

An appeal has been issued for information after a Littleport football pitch was damaged twice in the space of a month.

The incidents took place on the 9th and 27th of September at the Sports and Leisure Centre on Camel Road, Littleport.

Cambridegshire police stated:

"On both occasions, a vehicle was driven onto the pitch causing significant damage to the grass surface and rendering parts of the pitch unusable for local teams.
